MEDISOLV ANNOUNCES NEW VP OF SALES AND MARKETING AS PART OF GROWTH STRATEGY

Medisolv, Inc., the market leader in Business Intelligence and Clinical Decision Support Solutions for hospitals and healthcare systems, announces that Ray Dudley, a 20 year veteran to the healthcare IT market, has joined its executive team as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“We continue to execute our rapid growth strategy in hospital business intelligence and further expansion of our data warehouse solutions”, says Dr. Zahid Butt, Medisolv’s CEO. “Ray is a proven marketing and sales professional who has led new market launch and business growth efforts at the VP and Director of sales and marketing levels. Most recently Ray led the marketing and sales launch for ARINC’s entry into the healthcare market as a master systems integrator. Prior to ARINC, Ray was VP of Marketing and Sales for Practice Source, leading the startup from market planning through the launch and sales to more than 650 private practice customers. Ray also led the start up of AT&T Healthcare Network Integration Services and grew it to a $30 Million per year business selling consulting and integration services related to telemedicine, teleradiology and Health Information Exchange design and implementation. At Nortel, Ray was a VP in the Chief Strategy Officer’s organization where he developed strategic market plans for multiple lines of business and he managed a large sales team for the Americas Region Emerging Service Providers division. As a recognized leader in the healthcare market, Ray serves on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Association of Health Care Executives, participated in the HIMSS RHIO Definitions Committee and is one of the contributing authors for Guide to the Wireless Medical Practice, a book being released at the HIMSS 2008 national convention.
